Adams 12 School Board Elections
The Adams 12 Board of Education has five directors that are elected at large to four-year staggered terms. The District has a director district plan of representation which requires school board members reside in a specific geographic area. The District’s Boundary Locator provides information regarding director districts for specific addresses. A director district map and written descriptions of director district boundaries are available on the Board web page. Candidates must be a registered elector of the school district for at least 12 consecutive months before the election and be a resident of the director district that would be represented. Anyone convicted of commission of a sexual offense against a child is ineligible to run for school director.

November 2, 2021
Seats for Director Districts No. 3 and No. 4 are up for election in the November 2, 2021 General Election. Nomination for school directors is now closed. Nomination petitions were due by August 27, 2021 and Affidavits of Intent of Write-in Candidate were due by August 30, 2021. There are three candidates for Director District No. 3 and one candidate for Director District No. 4. Candidate information will be linked below beginning September 3, 2021.
