The Hispanic Advisory Council (HAC) is a group of concerned community members who value the richness and diversity that our Hispanic culture brings to our educational system in Adams 12 Five Star Schools. We are former educators, parents and grandparents of district students and community members who believe in diversity and equality for all students.
Our focus has become that of an advocacy group. We work to advocate for students, parent, families and staff who may be placed in an unacceptable situation due to their ethnicity, cultural values and/or differences in language.
The HAC also awards scholarships to deserving high school seniors who wish to attend college or trade school.
