Billing

Updated on Thu, 07/21/2016 - 8:34am

We email a monthly consolidated billing statement to district families. This statement lists all students in the household on one bill and includes most student fees (BASE and Nutrition fees will not be listed on the statement). Please contact your student's school if you have questions about your bill.

Billing statements are emailed on the 20th of each month, and in November and March of each year, a statement will mailed to the home address. Families can view the bill any time on the Infinite Campus portal.

My household is eligible for the Free or Reduced Meal benefit, why do I have student fees on my consolidated billing statement?

Please contact your student’s school and ask about the Free or Reduced Meal benefit information release form. All families who want to have student fees waived or reduced must sign this form. Some fees are not eligible to be waived based on Free or Reduced Meal benefit status.

Please contact your student’s school and let them know which fees are not showing up in PayForIt.

I believe my family qualified for the Free or Reduced Meal benefit; however, my student is still being charged for previous year fees?

Not all fees are Free or Reduced Meal benefit eligible. A copy of the prior year's eligibility letter should be supplied to the Finance Services Department in order to update student fees. A copy of this letter can be obtained by emailing nutritionmealbenefit@adams12.org or calling (720) 972-4195. Parents must provide the following information in an email or voicemail: parent's name, school year and address and delivery method (mailing address, email address or personal fax).

During your student's enrollment in Adams 12 Five Star Schools, fees were assessed. Please contact the school indicated on the billing statement for clarification.

Detailed descriptions of book charges can be viewed through the Infinite Campus portal. If you do not have a portal account, contact your child's school.

Contact the student’s school and the fees will be adjusted as applicable.

You will need to provide a copy (to the school) of the new court order showing that guardian status has been rescinded by the court.

I was the temporary guardian of a student through a Power of Attorney, and no longer have that student in my care. What do I need to do so I don’t continue to receive these bills?

The parent of the student that granted Power of Attorney to you will need to contact the school and revoke the Power of Attorney order on file.
